It has the original label affixed underneath and has been stored and taken care of meticulously. As you can see in the pictures. NO loose joints. Just a tiny bit of abrasion on the top right hand head area..... very minor.
It measures 38" long x 14" wide x 16.5" tall.
This has been appraised/valued at between $400 to $500.00. It is a rare find of local Ontario made craftsmanship and historical local Toys.
I will sell this lovely wood Rocking horse for $255.00. or best reasonable offer.

Schultz Brothers Co. Ltd.
By 1897, Schultz Brothers Co. Ltd. was formed and received a charter under the Companies Act of Canada. George became president. In the early 1900s, business was booming. A new much larger planing mill was installed, as well as other expensive machinery used for planing, mortising, matching and finishing lumber. The company had three lumber yards at Duke and Waterloo streets with a stock of 3 million feet of many kinds of wood. Shingles came from the company’s own mill in Cloverdale, B.C.
They made wood washing machines, Ladders, Doors, sashas and blinds, wood boxes, builders supplies, bricks and even Small Transportable Small Homes used as hunters cabins, prospector miner's homes, auto garages, homestead homes etc. Essentially they built what we know today as "Tiny Homes" back in the late 1800's. That could be moved and transported on a flat horse drawn wagon.
