A quite Rare Antique Orange Vita Juice Cold Hot Drink Dispenser in decent shape. It has rust inside and some perforation at the lower lip in 2 or 3 spots.
It still retains most of its very cool look including the stripes, and logo.
This dispenser is around 75 to 85 lbs. The upper and lower rings as well as the inner components are all cast iron. The outer shell body is a galvanized steel.

The heavy cast iron top does slide to the right to reveal the inner cast iron center canister. I cannot open it. Not sure how it opens and how it works.
There appears to be an inlet and outlet hole at the bottom back that seems to have fitted a threaded pipe into the holes.

There is a pull knob at the top that moves. Inside there is a latch that lifts up and down. The center piece with a round steel knob does move a bit left and right but seems to not do much else?

I have never seen one of these and picked it up at a farm sale out of town a number of years ago.

I have not been able to locate or come across a single other one of these that looks even remotely close to this one. I have not found any information on Orange Vita Juice either or any company that was behind it?
It must have been rare and unusual. I see 2 or 3 other types of antique hot cold dispensers but even those seem to be in not so great numbers?
I am guessing these were used in a General Store back in the 1920's or 30"s? Maybe older? or possibly at a fair or carnival setting?
I am guess that ice was poured inside and maybe cold water piped through the unit? The juice was maybe filled in the top of the dispenser?

The wood piece on top I think was fitted on well after this machine came out of use. Maybe to act as a stand of some kind? Using the dispenser as a showpiece doubling as a stand.

(I think if you became the owner of this you would have something pretty rare and unique).

This dispenser measures 28 7/8" tall x 16" diameter at the bottom ( 15.25" diameter of the top wood piece).

I could also ship this anywhere in Canada.

I appreciate replies back if you respond to this ad after I get back to you. Its just a common courtesy.
Thanks :)
