Antique Early 1900's Auto Harp Zither with Dominion Coat of Arms under the strings. Looks like its applied right under the varnish? Or painted on. Does not appear to be a sticker. Its an early Dominion of Canada logo.

A lovely piece of history and conversation piece for decorative purposes in a music themed room, recreation room or study/ library.
Approximately 100 to 120 years old.
The felt mechanism needs a few of the springs restored to function properly. There is also three strings missing. Easy to have replaced.
The button springs can be easily replaced or restored by removing the 4 screws on the top plate.
The soundboard is flat and free of cracks.
There is a a bit of glued repair at the seam on the bottom rear. All looks good and solid.
The strings are super old and would have to be replaced if you wanted to play this seriously.
They still hold a tune but lack the vibrance on a new modern string.
This is a Beautiful decorative piece.
It includes an antique string post winder/tuner crank.
Measures 20 1/4" long x 11 1/2" wide x 3 3/8" thick at the thickest point.
