This Practice Tool has never been used and is all complete.
The idea is to use the included aluminum spikes and affix the Measuring Distance Meter Red Base it to the ground/grass outdoors the attached cords length away from trees, fence, walls or other obstruction.
You then tee up the ball attached to a stretch string the whole string length away from the Red Distance Meter Measuring Base.
Tee off as per normal with the golf ball travelling over the red meter base. As the ball gets to the limit of the cord the cord will move the brass measuring device up the indicator base will stop showing you the distance you achieved on that drive. Practice and increase your distance which this device will measure up to 300 yards with a #1 wood and 150 yards with a 9 iron.
This measuring toy device also can indicate your "off axis" drive by the + and - indicator at the top of the device.
You can practice a hole of golf by adding up the number of strokes required to get to an average 480 to 520 yard green.
I would expect someone would buy this to keep in pristine condition and not actually use it but instead display it as a unique rare Golf Toy or Practice Tool for your sports room memorabilia collection or Golf unique items collection of rare vintage golf items. But I guess that's your call.
