We paid $25.00 just three weeks ago for this Nextech -Intertek A/C Adapter Plug to Micro USB plug. We bought it for our older Kobo only to realize that the Kobo sat for so long (4 years) that the battery was dead and would not take a charge. We were unable to return the plug because it was opened up.

This is a 120/240 volt input. So it is a standard voltage input for North America.
The output is 1.0 amps / 5 volts. That is pretty standard too.
The plug end is called a micro USB. That is the older style USB plug. Not the Micro USB that is a bit thinner as the ones used on the latest Samsung phones for example.
This cord will not work with iPhones.
However the power cube itself is a standard USB plug in and it can be used with any other cord that works with your electronic device as long as it has a regular USB plug on the one end.
It has the convenient folding plug prongs that fold in to save from scratching other things up in your purse, bag or vehicle glove box.
