Boon-docking is free, off-grid camping in remote, undeveloped locations—often on public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) or National Forest Service—without access to electricity, water, or sewer hookups. Also known as dry camping or dispersed camping, it requires self-sufficiency and reliance on onboard RV tanks and solar/batteries.
