My name is Peter Schacht and I am a Kitchener-based Visual Artist who is in much need of collecting more Ash Wood. What I am particularly in need of is the first cut slabs where the Ash Borer damage is present...75% covered or more...the curved outer pieces. I would definitely consider taking actual logs or rough cut pieces depending on the size & weight. I would also pay you for any help in cutting if you were able to and/or if it was needed to fit in my vehicle.

I am looking for pieces that are roughly 9-12+" (inches wide) x 24-72+" (inch lengths) x up to roughly 2-3" inches thick down the middle...Approximately. The wider the better! Sadly that means the daunting task of finding larger Ash trees in order to get those wider widths. Again, I only work with the outside of the tree where the Ash borer damage is seen.

I will pay a fair price for the help as well as for the wood itself. Thank you very much!
